Dr. Dejan Stojanović was born in Zrenjanin, where he completed elementary school and high school. In 2014, he earned his PhD at the Faculty of Sciences, University of Novi Sad, in the field of Environmental Protection and Forestry, obtaining the title of Doctor of Ecological Sciences. Since 2012, he has been employed at the Institute of Lowland Forestry and Environment, University of Novi Sad, where he serves as a Senior Researcher and Assistant Director. He has published more than 100 scientific references listed in scholar database. He has delivered numerous oral presentations and posters at international and domestic conferences. He was both a leader and participant in several international and national projects. For professional training, he has spent time in Zurich, Vienna, Potsdam, Montpellier, Bordeaux, Trento, Ljubljana, and Sopron. He has also attended shorter stays (conferences, training schools, project meetings, project preparations) in most European countries, including Turkey and China.
